Deb Elder knows real estate.  Her commitment to real estate as a profession evolved from being a second generation REALTOR raised in a family owned agency, Bird-Elder Real Estate & Insurance, in operation for three decades.  Her father was active as an officer on the local real estate board as well as an officer of the state association of REALTORS.  Deb is committed to ongoing professional education beyond the standard requirements so as to provide her clients with the ‘Best Of The Best’ …which is a title she has received through various publication surveys over the years.

Deb has been involved in community activism since the early 80s through volunteer involvement on the board of many non-profit organizations and as a civic volunteer to assist in the growth of services providing a positive environment for the general public.  Many community awards can be seen in her office ranging from Mayoral recognition for her volunteer services, the Kuchling Humanitarian Award from the HRC Black Tie Dinner, the Extra Mile Award, the Woman of the 20^th Century, and an award whereby a health clinic was named Young-Elder Women’s Clinic, and the list goes on.
